Head Coach

Suraj Kabir Verma, the founder and head coach of King’s Academy of Martial Arts in Chandigarh, is a dynamic force in the world of martial arts and fitness. As a certified Personal Trainer and Black Belt champion in Taekwondo and Karate, Kabir boasts an impressive record of over 125 medals and trophies. His achievements have earned him prestigious honors like the Pride of Asia Award, further solidifying his reputation as a martial arts icon. He has trained many celebrities and prepared many fighters for National & International Championships including Professional & Amateur MMA Fighters. Kabir has established a chain of MMA sports and fitness academies across India, empowering individuals through the transformative power of martial arts. His expertise and dedication have attracted prominent clients, including Johnson & Johnson and Tech Mahindra. He is working as an active Guest Lecturer at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran. Beyond his entrepreneurial success, Kabir is committed to giving back to the community. Through the Close Combat Foundation, he organizes free self-defense workshops for underprivileged children, spreading awareness about safety and empowerment. With academic credentials from VMS University and a profound passion for fitness and martial arts, Kabir leads King’s Academy of Martial Arts in Chandigarh with a mission to inspire confidence, discipline, and strength in every individual.
